South of the sun is an Armenian music project founded in 2022 by Arman Msryan, bassist, vocalist and songwriter of Sigma Sol, Lusareq Band and Zhanna Petrosyan, vocalist and songwriter. In 2024 the project became a full band. Other Members: Ayra Arakelyan (Acoustic Guitar,Vocals),David Olizarenko/FOX (Drums),Hrachya Miskaryan (Guitar),Hovhannes Asatryan (Keyboard),Mikayel Kenjetsyan(Guitar,Saxophone). During the recordings, the members also collaborate with other musicians. Within the framework of the project, several singles have already been released, mainly in the Rock style, but the project will not be limited to only one style and now the members are working on songs that will be in the upcoming conceptual album. Their first live performance was on March 2, 2025 in ToneLab, at the opening of Antimatter's Yerevan concert.
