Joker James returns with a fall concert

The program includes songs from the new album Rodina, as well as favorite tracks from different years, including those that were rarely played live before.

Joker James is a project by musician and journalist Alexei Ponomarev. It is a tribute to the bardrap genre, which combines hip-hop grooves, the legacy of Russian rock, and echoes of the British 60s. The lyrical hero JJ often merges completely with the author: many of his friends are indeed “foreign agents,” he has been following the war in Ukraine since 2014, and since about the same time he has been mocking all kinds of “patriots” and guardians, while proudly counting himself among the national traitors and the fifth column.
